NV2 Clearance Required
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Representative (FSR) to join a high‑performing operations team responsible for supporting and maintaining complex IT environments across multiple sites in Australia. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work, structured processes, and contributing to large‑scale technology programs.
About the Role
As a Field Service Representative, you will provide frontline technical support across a range of interconnected systems and environments. You’ll work as part of a multi‑disciplinary operations team, delivering maintenance, troubleshooting, system updates, and on‑site support for both physical and virtual infrastructure.
This position involves a mix of scheduled maintenance, system monitoring, hardware installation, software updates, and occasional ad hoc tasks to support operational activities and training environments. Some domestic travel and occasional shift work may be required during major exercises or planned activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support across multiple product lines
- Conduct system maintenance in line with established maintenance frameworks
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across physical and virtual environments
- Assist with logging, triaging, and resolving support requests
- Maintain and administer infrastructure, endpoints, and associated environments
- Support upgrades, updates, and configuration changes
- Participate in testing, evaluation, and continuous improvement activities
- Manage and audit assets and equipment across multiple locations
- Provide on‑site support as required
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong background in IT administration
- Experience working with physical and virtual network devices
- Exposure to cross‑functional IT teams or project environments
- Experience supporting secure or complex IT systems
- Ability to work independently and provide clear, timely updates
- NV2 security clearance (mandatory)
Desirable Skills
- Cyber security qualifications or hands‑on experience
- VMware experience (vCentre / vSphere learning pathway)
- CompTIA Security+
- Experience managing large‑scale networks or cyber training environments
- PowerShell scripting
- Understanding of cyber security principles
