Are you an experienced Enterprise Architect who enjoys influencing Defence technology strategy before projects are funded and delivered?
We're seeking an NV1-cleared Senior Enterprise Architect to join our growing Defence consulting practice in Adelaide. Working closely with Defence clients and leading Defence primes, you'll help shape major transformation initiatives through strategic architecture, executive advisory and pursuit leadership.
This role is ideal for someone who combines deep architecture expertise with strong consulting and business development skills, and who enjoys helping clients solve complex challenges while shaping new opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with Defence and Defence Industry leaders to define technology strategies, enterprise roadmaps and future-state architectures.
- Develop target operating models, capability roadmaps and investment priorities aligned to business and mission outcomes.
- Build trusted relationships with CIOs, Chief Architects, Program Directors and senior Defence stakeholders.
- Lead the architecture contribution to bids, proposals and pursuits, developing compelling and differentiated solutions that address client challenges.
- Work alongside account and consulting leaders to identify opportunities, shape client engagements and support business growth.
- Present architecture strategies and solution approaches to executive audiences, helping clients make informed technology and investment decisions.
- Provide architectural leadership and governance across complex Defence transformation programs.
- Australian Citizenship and a current NV1 Security Clearance.
- Significant experience as an Enterprise Architect within Defence, Defence Industry or complex government environments.
- Proven experience supporting pre-sales, pursuits, bids, proposals or business development activities within a consulting, Defence or systems integration environment.
- Strong capability in developing enterprise strategies, transformation roadmaps and future-state architectures.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience influencing and advising senior executives and technology leaders.
- Knowledge of Defence architecture, security and governance frameworks.
- Work on nationally significant Defence programs and strategic transformation initiatives.
- Influence technology decisions at the executive level.
- Partner directly with Defence leaders and major Defence primes.
- Help shape opportunities before they become funded programs.
