About the Opportunity
Emanate Technology are working with a high-performing Australian defence technology team to hire a DevSecOps Engineer. Delivering innovative software solutions in a secure and complex environment.

What You Will Be Doing
• Designing, implementing and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Integrating security controls and testing throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Developing and maintaining cloud and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
• Supporting containerised applications and platform services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitoring, assessing and remediating vulnerabilities across applications, infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Collaborating with software engineers, cyber security specialists and systems engineers to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
• Contributing to continuous improvement, automation and DevSecOps best practices.

• AWS or Azure
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Terraform and Ansible
• Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions and Jenkins
• Python, Java, Bash and PowerShell
• SAST, DAST and Vulnerability Scanning
• Git, JIRA and Confluence
About You
We're looking for engineers who are passionate and collaborative. You'd ideally have:
• A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security or a related field
• Experience in Software Engineering, DevOps or DevSecOps environments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms and automation practices
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code technologies
• Knowledge of secure software development and cloud security principles
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and agile environments
• Currently holding an AGSVA security clearance
