A high-profile Federal Government department is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer
to join a major transformation program focused on delivering impactful, fit-for-purpose digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful APIs that enable and enhance application functionality.
- Build and maintain real-time dashboards to monitor performance and usage metrics.
- Develop scripts and tools to streamline development workflows and reduce manual effort.
- Integrate APIs with ALM tools such as GitLab, Jira, and Microsoft Teams.
- Collaborate across teams to design and optimise CI/CD processes.
- Monitor system performance, identify and resolve technical issues during iterations.
- Support DevOps functions including continuous integration, code deployment, and automation.
- Contribute to performance optimisation and continuous improvement across digital platforms.
Essential Criteria
- 2–3 years of experience developing full-stack applications using Node.js with frameworks such as React, Vue, or Next.js.
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Hands-on experience with DevOps methodologies and tools including Jira and VSCode.
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including setup, maintenance, and monitoring.
- A strong appreciation for accessible digital design and development practices.
