In collaboration with the Queensland State Government, Emanate Technology is looking for an experienced Delivery Lead
to drive an 11-month system modernisation engagement.
You’ll be stepping into a dynamic environment with a clear architectural roadmap, a committed team, and strong technical expertise. The role will suit someone pragmatic, hands-on, and confident in Agile delivery leadership — particularly across release and branch management in a legacy-to-modernisation setting.
What you’ll be doing
- Scoping delivery priorities and re-baselining the plan to align with project timelines
- Leading daily ceremonies and Agile rituals to keep delivery on track
- Overseeing release and branch management, including governance and Change Advisory Board approvals
- Rescheduling and realigning the roadmap in line with available resources
- Guiding a cross-functional Agile team as a servant leader
- Collaborating with technical experts to modernise legacy .NET applications and databases
- Building strong team fit as a pragmatic servant leader who empowers without direct line reporting
- Engaging with stakeholders to align architectural strategy with delivery milestones
What you need to bring
- Experience delivering Agile programs end-to-end in complex environments
- Knowledge applying Scrum practices as a servant leader with cross-functional teams
- Expertise managing release planning, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines
- Skill balancing competing priorities and rescoping roadmaps in-flight
- Strength engaging diverse, distributed teams and fostering collaboration
- Ability navigating legacy tech while driving modernisation outcomes
- Background reporting into senior stakeholders while collaborating across teams
Bonus points for…
- Experience delivering modernisation initiatives across legacy .NET applications
- Knowledge applying Lean or DevOps practices in large, complex organisations
- Familiarity supporting architectural roadmaps and microservices strategies
- Certification as a Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent
