About the Opportunity
I’m currently partnering with a leading, large-scale organisation seeking an experienced and motivated Data Engineer to support the growth and maturity of its data and analytics capability. This role will support a high-impact initiative delivering a new data lakehouse platform, working hands-on to design, build, and optimise modern data solutions.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing and leading the delivery of end-to-end data architecture solutions that enable innovation and operational efficiency.
- Applying modern data engineering and DevOps practices to optimise data processing and delivery.
- Collaborating with a high-performing, customer-focused team within a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensuring high standards of data quality, performance, scalability, and security across large-scale data platforms.
- Driving best practices in data engineering, data modelling, and architecture to effectively support business objectives.
What you bring
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and networking concepts, with hands-on experience in implementation and operational support.
- Strong proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, PySpark, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
- Demonstrated knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices, supporting reliable and automated delivery.
