Senior Data Engineer – Brisbane

We’re looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to join a growing team in Brisbane. This is a senior technical role where you’ll be designing, building, and optimising scalable data pipelines that directly support analytics and decision-making across the business.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and integrations using modern ETL frameworks.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries for large-scale processing and reporting.
• Build and support cloud data warehouse solutions (Snowflake or similar).
• Model, transform, and structure data for use in BI and analytics (Power BI environment).
• Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver clean, reliable datasets.
• Maintain strong data quality, governance, and documentation practices.

• 5+ years’ hands-on experience with SQL, data pipelines, and performance tuning.
• Strong experience with ETL/data integration and cloud data platforms (Snowflake or similar).
• Proven skills in data modelling and transformation.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and strong communication skills.

• Experience with data governance and quality assurance.
• Power BI modelling experience.

• This is a Brisbane-based role – we’re only considering candidates currently living in Brisbane.
