We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery and continuous improvement of ICT and digital technology services in a complex, stakeholder-driven environment.
Working closely with business stakeholders and Digital Technologies teams, you will help assess impacts, define requirements, and shape practical, fit-for-purpose solutions. This role suits a proactive, delivery-focused Business Analyst who is comfortable operating independently, partnering with technical teams, and contributing across the full lifecycle—from discovery through to implementation support.
What You Will Be Doing
- Work with business stakeholders to identify, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements
- Review and assess business and ICT impacts, translating needs into clear solution scopes in collaboration with Digital Technologies teams
- Research and gather requirements from existing documentation, support requests, workshops and stakeholder interviews
- Support the development and maintenance of business cases, policies, procedures and system documentation
- Assist stakeholders to identify and document ICT impacts, risks, contingency plans and user workarounds
- Create and update process maps, diagrams and supporting artefacts as required
- Provide informed advice on system capabilities, information requirements, scope management and delivery risks
- Contribute to peer reviews and support other technology resources
- Document methodologies, tools and structures to support ongoing business needs
- Keep across industry and technology trends to identify opportunities for improvement
You will bring a strong foundation in business analysis within ICT and digital environments, along with:
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst delivering outcomes in technology-enabled projects or operational environments
- Strong capability in requirements elicitation, stakeholder engagement and documentation
- Experience working across business and technical teams to shape pragmatic solutions
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear documentation and reports
- The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver with minimal supervision
- Experience working within PRINCE2 and/or Agile delivery frameworks
- A relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience working on or alongside Cyber Security, infrastructure or modern workplace initiatives
- Knowledge of cyber security frameworks such as ASD Essential Eight and NIST
- Exposure to modern cloud, endpoint and security platforms, including:
- Microsoft Azure / Entra ID
- Microsoft Intune
- Zscaler or similar secure access / zero-trust technologies
- A continuous improvement mindset and interest in emerging technology and industry trends
