About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and optimise modern cloud and security solutions across complex enterprise environments. You will work closely with product owners, developers and cloud vendors to deliver scalable, secure and high‑performing infrastructure that supports critical digital services on a AWS environment.
This role suits someone with strong cloud engineering capability, deep security awareness, and the ability to evaluate and deploy emerging technologies in controlled environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable cloud solutions aligned to complex technical requirements and strategic business objectives.
- Enterprise cloud infrastructure deployment and maintenance
- Cloud architecture and solution design experience required.
- Optimise cloud environments for security, reliability and cost efficiency through collaborative, compliance‑driven engineering.
- Cloud security implementation aligned to ISM and Essential Eight
- Work with product owners and developers to evaluate and implement security controls aligned to industry frameworks and internal policies.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and CI/CD pipelines
- Deploy and integrate CNAPP and SASE solutions across multi‑cloud environments to unify security visibility and access control.
- Architect and deliver Proof of Concepts to assess emerging security tools within replicated production environments.
- Engage with cloud vendors to design and validate solution architectures that balance technical capability and business needs.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain NV1 security clearance
- Strong background in infrastructure engineering, cloud platforms, and security‑aligned solution design
- Onsite five days a week availability in the ACT
