Clearance: Australian Citizen with an active NV2 security clearance (mandatory)
Are you passionate about building secure, scalable cloud platforms that make a real impact? We’re looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support modern cloud and hybrid infrastructure in a highly secure environment.
This is an opportunity to work on meaningful, technically challenging projects while collaborating with experienced engineers in a security-conscious organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering resilient, well-architected cloud solutions by:
- Designing, building, and maintaining cloud and hybrid infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and databases
- Automating infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Monitoring system performance, identifying anomalies, and optimising cost and resource usage
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex cloud service issues
- Supporting cyber security, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) requirements through accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Applying security best practices to ensure platforms remain robust, compliant, and reliable
- Hands-on experience with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and hybrid cloud environments
- Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools(e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, including RBAC, secrets management, and compliance-aligned design
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and secure authentication models
- Scripting capability using Python, Bash, or cloud CLIs
- Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and managed container services
- Australian Citizenship
- Active NV2 security clearance (required and must be held at the time of application)
