We are seeking experienced Cloud and Data Architecture specialists to join a large-scale digital transformation program within a complex enterprise environment. This role sits within a central Cloud Infrastructure, Architecture and Strategy function and will play a key role in shaping future-state cloud platforms, consolidating enterprise data capabilities, and strengthening architectural governance across high-visibility initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Design secure, scalable cloud architectures, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure
- Define and evolve cloud landing zones, operating models, and SaaS lifecycle strategies
- Lead the consolidation of legacy data platforms into modern cloud-based data architectures
- Design and contribute to modern data pipelines and platforms (ETL/ELT), supporting enterprise analytics and AI use cases
- Produce high-level designs and solution architectures aligned to enterprise strategy
- Embed security-by-design principles aligned to ISM, PSPF and Essential Eight
- Support architectural governance through design authorities and review boards
- Engage with senior stakeholders, delivery partners, and vendors to influence outcomes
- Proven experience applying enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SABSA, DAMA or similar)
- Strong hands-on experience designing Azure-based cloud solutions
- Demonstrated data architecture and data engineering capability within cloud environments
- Experience with tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or equivalent platforms
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior, non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in large, complex enterprise or government environments
- Initial contract through 30 June 2026
- 2 x 12-month extension options
