Emanate Technology is partnered with a private sector construction company that is investing heavily in AI, automation, and modern cloud platforms to improve business processes and operational efficiency across the organisation.

The team is building solutions that leverage AI and automation across the business, from streamlining workflows through to developing internal tools that can securely access business data, systems, and documents. They are looking for a hands-on Cloud AI Engineer to help build and support the Azure infrastructure that underpins these initiatives.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working across cloud engineering, automation, and emerging AI technologies, and wants to be involved in taking solutions from concept through to production.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Build, maintain, and support Azure cloud environments.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Deploy and support AI and automation solutions.
  • Build cloud infrastructure to support AI agents and internal automation platforms.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using Python, Bash, and Azure CLI.
  • Manage containerised applications and services.
  • Support PostgreSQL databases, integrations, and associated cloud services.
  • Work closely with internal technology teams and external vendors.
  • Help take solutions from development through to production and ongoing support.
Key Skills and Experience Essential Skills
  • Strong Azure Cloud Engineering experience.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline development.
  • Strong Python scripting skills.
  • Bash scripting and Azure CLI experience.
  • Experience working with containerisation technologies.
  • Experience supporting and operating production cloud environments.
Desirable Skills
  • PostgreSQL experience.
  • Exposure to AI, machine learning, or agentic AI solutions.
  • Understanding of cloud security and authentication frameworks.
  • Experience deploying or supporting modern AI applications.
