We are searching for an experienced Business Analyst to work closely with the business and technical teams on a multi-year ERP / Finance Systems Transformation project. This is a pivotal role within a high‑profile, business‑critical initiative that will modernise and streamline core Finance and HR operations across the organisation. You’ll be working as part of a dedicated project team delivering a new ERP solution, with an initial focus on key Finance and HR modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- HR / Payroll (HR/PY)
What You’ll Be Doing
As the Business Analyst, you will play a central role in shaping business requirements and ensuring the ERP solution meets organisational needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and facilitating workshops with Finance, HR, and operational stakeholders
- Gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements
- Mapping current‑state and future‑state processes
- Working closely with project managers, technical teams and the ERP vendor
- Supporting testing, change management, and solution validation activities
- Acting as a trusted advisor to the business throughout the implementation lifecycle
You will thrive in this role if you bring:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on ERP or large‑scale system implementations (such as SAP, Oracle, D365, TechnologyOne, Aurion)
- Strong understanding of Finance and/or HR processes (GL, AP, HR/Payroll)
- Excellent communication and workshop‑facilitation skills
- The ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements
- A collaborative mindset and confidence working with diverse stakeholder groups
