About the role
We are partnering with a major organisation who is in the middle of a large, multi‑stream transformation program delivering new digital capability across marketing, data & technology, and their core operations. As the program approaches go‑live, they are seeking a highly capable Business Analyst who can step into a fast‑paced environment, work closely with existing BA peers, and provide strong documentation, analysis, and delivery support across several concurrent workstreams.
This role is ideal for someone who can context‑switch quickly, work across multiple verticals, and produce high‑quality analysis that supports a smooth transition into new processes, systems, and ways of working. You’ll be joining an established BA team with strong vendor relationships already in place, so the focus is on internal collaboration, clarity of outputs, and risk mitigation as the program moves through its final delivery phases.
What you will be doing
• Supporting multiple project streams (CRM, marketing, data & tech) with clear, structured business analysis.
• Producing high‑quality documentation including as‑is and to‑be process maps, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Working closely with peer BAs to ensure consistency, alignment, and shared understanding across the program.
• Shadowing existing BAs in vendor‑related conversations while focusing primarily on internal stakeholders.
• Ensuring all analysis required for go‑live is completed to a high standard, with clear actions, outcomes, and traceability.
• Facilitating workshops with internal teams to capture requirements, validate processes, and support end‑to‑end delivery.
• Identifying risks, gaps, and dependencies across workstreams and contributing to mitigation strategies.
• Supporting testing activities, including reviewing test cases and validating outcomes against requirements.
• Contributing to program governance, reporting, and cross‑functional coordination.
• Operating as a generalist BA who can move between streams, pick up new contexts quickly, and deliver at pace.
What you will bring
• Strong experience as a Business Analyst within complex transformation programs.
• Demonstrated ability to produce clear, structured, and high‑quality documentation.
• Proven capability in as‑is/to‑be process mapping, BPMN, and end‑to‑end analysis.
• Ability to work across multiple streams simultaneously and switch context quickly.
• Strong written communication skills with a focus on clarity, structure, and traceability.
• Experience supporting testing phases and validating solutions against requirements.
• Ability to work effectively with peers, project managers, and cross‑functional teams.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical capability, and the ability to hit the ground running.
Bonus points for
• Experience in large, highly governed or regulated environments.
• Exposure to marketing, CRM, or data‑driven digital delivery.
• Familiarity with transformation programs involving SaaS platforms.
• Strong understanding of current‑state vs future‑state operating models.
• Experience working across multi‑stream delivery environments.
• Contract: 6‑month fixed term (visibility beyond this is unlikely due to program structure).
• Salary: $110K–$120K per annum (pro‑rated for 6 months). Exceptional candidates may be considered on a day rate.
• Location: Fortitude Valley, hybrid (Tues/Thurs on site).
