Emanate Technology is looking for a skilled Project Business Analyst to support one of our key clients in the delivery of a contemporary Health, Safety, Environment & Community (HSEC) and Human Rights (HR) information system. This Brisbane-based role will see you work on a strategic, high-impact project that drives meaningful transformation in a major resources environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Scoping, validating, and documenting business and system requirements through stakeholder workshops
- Mapping current and future-state processes using BPMN in Visio
- Identifying improvement opportunities and supporting solution design
- Translating complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language
- Developing and executing test plans, leading UAT activities
- Providing support to the business during system implementation and transition
- Coordinating inputs across multi-vendor environments under tight deadlines
What you need to bring
- Experience creating structured and traceable requirements for complex projects
- Background in mapping business processes and identifying improvement opportunities using BPMN
- Familiarity applying HSEC and HR domain knowledge to technology-driven initiatives
- Track record of managing stakeholder relationships in high-pressure, change-resistant environments
- Exposure to fast-paced delivery environments with multiple competing deadlines and vendors
- Capability in leading system testing phases, including defect resolution and UAT coordination
- Qualifications gained in Information Systems, Business Analysis, or a related discipline

- Worked with IsoMetrix or similar HSEQ compliance platforms
- Contributed to projects in the mining, resources, or heavy industry sectors
- Supported large-scale change and transformation programs
- Handled complex stakeholder environments with diplomacy and persistence
