In collaboration with a leading Higher Education provider, Emanate Technology is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to lead the translation of business needs into practical, high-value solutions that deliver meaningful outcomes.
You’ll sit at the heart of complex initiatives, bridging business and technology, shaping requirements, improving processes and supporting delivery from discovery through to implementation.
What you’ll be doing
- Scoping business needs and objectives with diverse stakeholder groups
- Eliciting functional and non-functional requirements, user stories and use cases
- Translating business requirements into clear, fit-for-purpose analysis artefacts
- Analysing data sets to uncover insights and inform decision making
- Mapping current and future state processes using BPMN standards
- Identifying process inefficiencies and recommending improvement opportunities
- Facilitating workshops using design and systems thinking techniques
- Liaising between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
- Collaborating with project teams to align process change with technology uplift
- Producing clear reports and presentations for executive audiences
- Monitoring benefits realisation and recommending ongoing improvements
- Supporting testing, validation, training and implementation activities
What you need to bring
- Proven experience delivering complex initiatives as a Business Analyst
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with senior stakeholders to elicit requirements
- Extensive experience applying business analysis techniques and frameworks
- Strong experience developing process maps, data models and system documentation
- Established experience driving continuous improvement and meaningful change
- High-level experience producing clear specifications, reports and presentations
- Sound experience building productive, outcomes-focused working relationships
- Solid experience working independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teams
Bonus points for…
- Previous experience delivering solutions within government or higher education
- Hands-on experience implementing SaaS or COTS platforms
- Practical experience applying AI technologies or tools in business solutions
