The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions. You’ll lead architecture decisions, automation frameworks, and governance models that underpin major transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect robust Azure environments supporting AI, enterprise systems, and strategic programs.
- Develop landing zones, governance frameworks, and automation pipelines for consistent cloud delivery.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and engineering teams to align technology with business goals.
- Lead migration planning and execution from on-premises to Azure.
- Maintain clear documentation and participate in architecture reviews to guide decision-making.
- Proven experience across Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Strong understanding of identity, access, and security governance (RBAC, Zero Trust).
- Skilled in Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with AKS/Kubernetes and Azure AI Landing Zone design.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to influence technical and business outcomes.
- Full-time, Canberra-based position.
- AFP check required; no security clearance needed.
