Our client is on a mission to move everything that isn’t nailed down (and a few things that are) from on-prem to the cloud by mid-2026. Think containers, VMs, and a whole lot of AWS magic. If you love automation, secure design, and making things run smoother than a barista’s flat white, this is your stage.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Migration Magic: Shift IaaS to PaaS like a pro and make EC2 environments sing.
- Ops Excellence: Patch, log, monitor, back up, and keep vulnerabilities at bay.
- Container Craftsmanship: Help move workloads from OpenShift to AWS (ECR, ECS, EKS, Fargate).
- Collaboration: Work with cloud, app, and security teams to keep everything secure and scalable.
- Knowledge Sharing: Document, automate, and teach others your wizardry.
- AWS SysOps experience (you know your EC2 from your EKS).
- Container know-how (AWS and OpenShift).
- Linux and Windows admin chops, plus scripting skills (Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with AWS tools like Patch Manager, Inspector, Systems Manager, and monitoring via CloudWatch.
- Solid grasp of networking, IAM, and security best practices.
- Bonus points if you speak fluent “Well-Architected Framework.”
- Self-starter who thrives on responsibility.
