Emanate Technology is partnering with a national enterprise organisation, leaders in their field and a trusted brand known by most Australians. Continuing their investment into onshore teams and building their in-house capability, this opportunity involves multi year projects, modern tooling and an environment created for you to thrive! Working in a cross functional team made up of Tech Leads, Developers, Automation Engineers and BAs, this role will focus on Mobile and Web solutions. The team work on both internal and external facing software, so having experience in both areas will be beneficial in your application.
What you will be doing
- Developing and maintaining automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing
- Leading automation initiatives across multiple test types, including regression and performance
- Enhancing CI/CD pipelines to streamline delivery and improve reliability
- Working closely with developers, testers, and product teams to identify automation opportunities
- Sharing knowledge and mentoring junior team members to uplift capability
- Driving continuous improvement in QA processes and introducing innovative solutions
- Ensuring compliance through risk assessments and security reviews
- Producing clear documentation for test plans, coverage, and reporting
- Solid experience in test automation and quality engineering
- Strong coding skills in Java and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Rest Assured, Postman, or Mockito
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Understanding of Agile delivery and tools like JIRA, Git, and Docker
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for quality
- Experience with Playwright for modern automation
- Exposure to AI-driven testing or model-based frameworks
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling
- Industry certifications (ISTQB, AWS/Azure, Selenium)
- Background in banking, fintech, or other regulated environments
