Sam is a Talent Consultant in the Emanate Technology Canberra team. Specialising in the Project Services market, he uses his high energy and genuine empathy to connect candidates to secure their ideal opportunity.

Sam brings a dynamic and people-oriented background to the recruitment space, shaped by years of experience in fast-paced, customer-facing environments. Having worked in both direct service and management roles within large hospitality venues and sporting organisations, Sam has developed a strong foundation in leadership, communication, and operational efficiency. Complementing this practical experience, he completed internships at top-tier consulting firms, gaining exposure to corporate structures and strategic business thinking. Sam recently completed a degree in Business Administration at the Australian National University, majoring in Management. With strong communication skills, a genuine interest in people, and a natural ability to thrive in fast-moving environments, Sam was drawn to recruitment as a career path that would allow him to combine his business education with his outgoing personality. Outside of work, Sam leads an active and well-rounded lifestyle. A passionate sports fan, he follows the NBA closely, cheering on the Los Angeles Lakers and follows the St George Dragons in the NRL. Sam enjoys playing social sport, currently part of a rugby union and netball team, having grown up trying his hand at almost every sport along the way. Sam also enjoys international travel, having recently returning from trip to Vietnam. On weekends, you’ll often find him exploring the outdoors, enjoying scenic hikes and making the most of Canberra’s surrounding nature.
